Some of them are items you’d naturally think of, like watermelon and turtle. It runs through a variety of items that are green.

You could set up your own flannel board invitation for counting down along with the song! The Color Green Song It’s “illustrated” with flannel board scenes, which will definitely amuse the kids. It’s full of repetitive words, rhymes, and lots of counting. Patrick’s Day counting, too, so I thought I’d share this one as an alternative to try with the kids. Jack Hartmann is a favorite children’s musician of mine. Challenge the kids to see how many rhyming words they hear. On top of the math, there are rhyming words and a beat to keep with this song. Along with the narrator, kids count by ones, twos, fives, and tens. In this video by Harry Kindergarten Music, children can work on their early math skills. I found this to be a pretty catchy song, and St. What a sweet song from Nancy Kopman! This song and video explores all of the colors of the rainbow, and it even delves into why we see rainbows.
